On Rails!

I've recently discovered the joy of 'Ruby on Rails'.

Yes, I know - I'm way behind the times with this. Not really, just been actively avoiding it because the development environment (Windows) I've used for so long is pitifully slow when it comes to Ruby and Ruby on Rails in particular. This all changed over Christmas 2007 - my wife bought me an iMac... The speed difference is just unbelievable.

So now I'm busily attempting to rectify this situation and having a great deal of fun doing so...

An Interesting Find

While trawling through this thing called the web I came across this little snippet of information...

Now, whether or not its true isn't of great interest me but what is - why Apple would want to make such an application available on the windows platform...

Windows just can't do what the OS X can... Well of course that's not strictly true - its just so damn painful to get anything running on the Windows platform as slick.
